ThreatFire is an anti virus that does not rely on signatures, but instead constantly analyzes your computer's behavior to detect and block any malicious activity. The good part is you can run ThreatFire alongside your regular antivirus software. |

Spybot - Search & Destroy can detect and remove a multitude of
adware files and modules from your computer. Spybot also can
clean program and Web-usage tracks from
your system, which is
especially useful if you share your computer. You
can schedule it to automatically update and scan. You don't find
that often in a free program. |

CCleaner is a tool designed
to reduce this effect by deleting files that you don’t need and
removing invalid entries in the registry. After running CCleaner
you can expect to have a faster and more reliable computer,
you’ll even get more disc space! (While CCleaner is decent for a
free cleaner it isn't the best.) |
